PMP® Certification
PMP® has become one of most recognized Project Management certifications. All types of corporations, on every sector, are looking for certified PMP professionals to manage their projects. According to the PMI’s® “Project Management Salary Survey 8th Edition”, a certified project manager earns more 17% than a non-certified project manager.
Yes, the PMP® exam can be taken online. To take the PMP exam online you need a computer with camera and microphone.
The PMP® certification has a 3 years cycle period. During these 3 years you must report 60 Professional Development Units (PDU’s) to maintain your certification.
The Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) is by far the most widely recognized project management certification.
This certification demonstrates that you have the experience, education and ability to lead and direct a project successfully.
According with the PMI® Salary Survey — Sixth Edition, the PMP® certification can increases the salary up to 10% in comparison with non certified project managers.
The PMP® handbook specifies that the candidate must have:
- A) If the candidate has a bachelor degree or global equivalent the requirements are a minimum of 36 months of non-overlapping project management experience and 35 hours of project management training. The experience must have been attained in the last 8 years.
- B) If the candidate has a high school diploma the requirements are a minimum of 60 months of non-overlapping project management experience and 35 hours of project management training. The experience must have been attained in the last 8 years.

The advantages of classroom + elearning over elearning are:
- PMP® classroom + elearning includes 35 hours of classroom training
- PMP® virtual classroom + elearning includes 24 hours of virtual classroom training
- It takes time to understand the reasoning behind many exam questions. This type of learning is not easily “studied”, but can be easily “perceived” in a classroom/ virtual classroom discussion. Furthermore, classroom time can be used to effectively transmit PMI®‘s perspective on project management processes. This perspective can be different from the daily practice of many project managers. Our classroom training will focus on changing our trainees perspective on project management.
- Trainees enrolled in our classroom training, who attempt to pass the exam within 3 months of completing their classroom training and fail, can enrol for free in a new classroom course.

Often candidates believe that they must have the project management title to be eligible for the exam. We believe that this is not the case. According to the PMP® handbook, candidates must have experience in leading and directing project tasks. This kind of experience can be attained as a project manager, project coordinator or team leader.

At the current fees, the PMI® member discount is 150 USD which is actually higher than the PMI® member cost. Furthermore you have significant advantages for being a PMI® member.
Yes, the letter contains a confirmation number required to register for the exam.
There are 180 questions. However, there are only 175 that influence the passing mark. The other 5 are lab questions that PMI® uses for quality control purposes. Because these 5 questions are not identified, you should try to answer all questions correctly.
No. if you answer incorrectly you don’t win or lose points. Therefore we you should try to answer all questions, even when you are not sure about the answer.
It depends of the quality of the preparation materials and on your level of expertise. Normally it takes most people from 100 to 300 hours. XPM elearning study plan forecasts 100 hours of study.
Yes. A study group should help you to share and gain knowledge. We encourage our students to join study groups during and after the classroom and elearning training. We also provide online tools to facilitate the collaboration.
No. Most concepts should be understood instead of memorized. Understanding is often done by examples, tips and exercises. XPM training also includes learning games to help you memorize/ understand concepts.
No. The software where the exam is taken includes all the tools necessary to do the exam.

Yes, nowadays all XPM PMP prep courses include access to the PMP elearning course.
Elearning
The elearning is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
XPM has courses in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese.
No, the elearning works with a regular internet browser.
PMI® Audits
Once you submit your exam application, a percentage of all candidates is selected for an audit. Those who are selected will have to send: a copy of their diploma, project management training certificates, and a written confirmation of experience. Those who were not selected for an audit do not need to send this information. Nowadays the information must be send electronically.

Digital Badges
A digital badge is a digital image that contains verified metadata that describes your professional accomplishment and the process required to earn it. You can display a digital badge to promote your accomplishment via social media platforms or other digital mediums. You can also display your badges in your email footer and allow others to verify your achievement online.
You may control whether badges are public by configuring the privacy settings of your Badgr account.
You will receive an email notification from Bagdr with instructions for claiming your badge. The email will indicate that the digital badge was issued by XPM Consulting.
