Timeboxing

This video will explore the concept of Timeboxing. Timeboxing an agile event means that the time dedicated to that event is fixed. If an agile team timeboxes the sprint, that means that the team will plan the work that can be delivered within the existing time. The sprint duration will not change. If the team is struggling to meet performance targets, the team will remove forecasted items to ensure that it will finish within the existing timebox. Agile teams can timebox every event, limiting the time dedicated to sprints, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. This video is part of a set of videos that will explore agile concepts, practices and frameworks.
