Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern how we supply our classroom and elearning training services.
Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are hereby reserved.

Enrolments

To enroll, you must fill in the registration form and send it along with a payment confirmation. Your enrollment will only be considered effective upon payment confirmation.

Pricing and Payment

Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card/PayPal. In the case of credit card/PayPal, a fee of 6% over the course price is charged to account for the use of third party payment providers. You agree to provide payment for the services in the stipulated currency and you will be liable to pay any applicable conversion charges, bank charges and applicable taxes. Please note that we must receive your payment in full before providing you with access to virtual sessions, elearning courses and exam vouchers.

Travel and other expenses

  • Trainees are solely responsible for obtaining all and any valid legal documents (e.g., passport and visa), if applicable, which are required to travel to the host country. Trainees are solely responsible for ensuring that travel documents conform with the requirements of the host country, and it is their sole obligation to be adequately informed about the respective domestic laws for such country and/or any other requirements or travel restrictions.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses such as flight tickets, hotel, meals, travel insurance, health insurance, and accident insurance are not included in the course price. Trainees are, therefore, advised to make the appropriate arrangements in their own country before departure regarding insurance. If the course is cancelled or postponed, there will be no right to any compensation from XPM Consulting to trainees for any travel and accommodation expenses.

Classroom or Virtual Course Enrolment Cancellation

  • If you are unable to attend a classroom or virtual course, please note the following:
    • If the enrolment is cancelled more than ten business days before the start of the course, XPM reserves the right to charge 10% of the course price.
    • If the enrolment is cancelled ten or fewer business days before the start of the course, XPM reserves the right to charge 100% of the course price.
  • Before purchasing any virtual course, you must ensure you meet the system requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and Internet service. We will not provide a refund if you cannot access the virtual course due to insufficient system requirements.
  • We will not refund Bank and PayPal transfer fees if you cancel your course enrolment. 
  • If the course materials were sent to you before your cancellation, we will deduct the materials and shipping costs from the refund.
  • We will not accept the return of the training materials.

Elearning Course Enrolment Cancellation

  • There are no cancellations for enrollment in e-learning courses.
  • Before purchasing any e-learning course, you must ensure you meet the system requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and Internet service. We will not provide a refund if you cannot access the e-learning course due to insufficient system requirements.

Course Cancellation

We will make every effort to deliver the training course.  However, XPM Consulting reserves the right to cancel or postpone any training course, notifying all concerned as soon as possible. XPM Consulting may cancel the course for several reasons, including the need to have a minimum number of course participants. There will be no right to any compensation from XPM Consulting to those involved in the case of course cancellation. Please contact us for any clarification or additional information.

Grant of elearning license

Upon confirming your payment, we will grant you a license to use the e-learning course. This license is personal to you and cannot be shared, sub-licensed, transferred, or exchanged with others and is subject to the rights and obligations granted under these Terms.

Access to elearning materials

Your e-learning course enrolment includes the right to access the e-learning course content for a limited period. Your e-learning course starts when we send you the login access, even if you don’t access the course content. The access time is determined considering the elapsed time without distinguishing weekdays from weekends, holidays, and holidays. You are responsible for completing the course content within the allocated period. Therefore, we are unable to refund you or extend your course access if you fail to complete the content within the allocated time. Extensions of time are available for purchase at an additional cost.

Training Materials

  • When the course includes books or other training materials, we may send these materials by CTT or Amazon to your address.
  • We can only send training materials to European addresses.

System Availability

The e-learning platform is usually available 24X7 but may be unavailable during maintenance periods required for optimized performance. XPM Consulting will make every effort to inform you in advance of downtime, but this may only sometimes be possible.

Exam Vouchers

  • Exam vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant exam provider. 
  • Exam vouchers are an electronic code supplied to each student who has purchased one. 
  • Exam vouchers are valid for up to 3 months from the voucher issue date.
  • The exam can be held online in a place of your choice. You will need an internet connection and a PC with a camera.
  • Certificates will be available on the issuing organisation’s website
  • Exam vouchers are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable
  • You cannot resell or return exam vouchers
  • You must request the exam voucher within three months after the exam voucher payment
  • XPM Consulting cannot change the exam date or language once the exam is scheduled
  • The exam issuing organization may charge additional fees for changing the exam date or language
  • There will be an additional fee for extending the exam voucher validity
  • Before purchasing any exam voucher, you must ensure you meet the system requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and Internet service. We will not provide a refund if you cannot access the exam due to insufficient system requirements.
  • In case they fail the first attempt of the European Certification exam (EC-PM, EC-AglPM, EC-AglC, EC-AglPO, EC-SM, or EC-OKRS), students are entitled to a second attempt at the same exam, which must be taken within a maximum of 1 month from the date of the first exam. If the student does not take the exam within this period, the retake is automatically canceled. The student must request the retake from XPM within a maximum period of 2 weeks after failing the first attempt.

Certificate

You must attend a minimum of 75% of the total number of training hours to be eligible to obtain a certificate of attendance.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All materials and training content provided in a classroom, virtual, or e-learning course are the intellectual property of XPM Consulting. No part of the training materials or training content may be reproduced, stored, translated into another language, or transmitted in any form or by any means without our previous consent. Any reproduction, storage, or transmission violates the PMI code of ethics and will be reported to PMI.

Data Protection

All data provided is confidential. We will not provide it to external parties. You have the right to check and correct the data, as well as not authorize that the data be used to inform you of the training events organized by XPM Consulting.

Responsibility

XPM provides its services and documentation “As is” without warranty of any kind. XPM is expressly disclaimed from all implied warranties, including but not limited to (i) guarantees of satisfactory quality; (ii) merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; (iii) uninterrupted provision of the Services; (iv) accuracy, correctness, reliability and currentness of the information.

Force Majeure

XPM will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in the performance of, any of our obligations under an order that is caused by Force Majeure (an event outside our control). Force Majeure means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation server failures, software failures, strikes, civil commotion, riots, invasions, terrorist attacks, war, fire, explosions, storms, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, pandemics, or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.

Digital Badging

  • Digital badges are digital images that can communicate and promote your professional accomplishments via digital and online mediums. Each digital badge contains pre-validated metadata that can be:
    • Used to promote your professional achievements via social media
    • Included in your e-mail signatures
    • Added to your resumes and biographies
    • Used to enable potential employers to verify your professional accomplishments online
  • You can create an account with Bagdr to manage your digital badge settings, including determining whether your badges are made public or kept private.
  • To be eligible to obtain a digital badge, you must attend at least 75% of the total number of training hours.
  • XPM provides a digital badge “As is” without warranty of any kind. XPM is expressly disclaimed from all implied warranties, including but not limited to (i) guarantees of satisfactory quality; (ii) merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; (iii) uninterrupted provision of the Services; (iv) accuracy, correctness, reliability and currentness of the information. XPM cannot guarantee that the digital badge will be available forever.
  • If you have authorized the issuance of the digital badge, XPM Consulting may publish your digital badge on XPM Consulting’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages and will send you your digital badge by email after you have successfully completed the course.
