How do you obtain the European Certified Project Manager certification?
To obtain the EC-PM certification, you must first obtain an exam voucher through an authorised training provider. When you are ready, you must register on the European Certification website and take the exam online. To obtain the certification, you must correctly answer at least 60% of the 50 exam questions.

Project Management certification course: classroom training
Classroom training combines the presentation and discussion of key topics with practical examples and exercises.
Depending on the course, the training may include:
- Presentation and discussion of the main topics, with examples that facilitate learning.
- Use of relevant templates, checklists and other resources.
- Practical exercises and learning activities.
- Exam preparation questions, including module-specific questions and, where applicable, a final exam.
- Support with developing a study plan and, where applicable, guidance on the individual exam application process.
Online Project Management certification course: virtual and elearning training
Virtual courses combine live training with the flexibility of distance learning. Sessions are led by the trainer and allow participants to actively participate, ask questions and complete exercises. During the training, participants can use whiteboards, answer questions, exchange messages and take part in Q&A sessions, among other features.
Since 2010, XPM has also offered elearning, allowing participants to study at their own pace. When a course is available as elearning, please refer to the elearning tab for information about the specific features, resources and terms of that format.

Our Project Management Certification course in elearning includes:

Access to elearning materials
Enrolment in an elearning course includes access to the course content for the period specified for the course.
The access period starts on the day the access details are sent, even if the participant has not yet started the course. The period is counted in calendar days, including weekends, holidays and public holidays.
Participants are responsible for completing the course within the access period.
European Certified Project Manager (EC-PM®) exam voucher
If you purchase a course option that includes the European Certified Project Manager (EC-PM®) exam voucher, you must request the voucher within six months of completing the training, either in person or virtually.
The voucher is an electronic code assigned to each candidate, valid for one year from the date the invoice is paid, and allows one attempt at the exam. The exam can be taken online.
Conditions
- Exam vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the organisation responsible for the examination.
- Exam vouchers are personal and non-transferable.
- Exam vouchers are non-refundable.
- Exam vouchers may not be resold, exchanged or converted into cash.
- Unless otherwise stated, an exam voucher consists of an electronic code that allows one attempt at the exam.
- If you do not pass the EC-PM exam on your first attempt, you are entitled to a second attempt (Retake), which must be taken within one month of the date of the first attempt. If you do not take the exam within this period, the right to the Retake is automatically forfeited.
- The candidate must request the Retake from XPM within two weeks of taking the first attempt.
Guarantee
Participants enrolled in the Classroom or Virtual Classroom options, who are entitled to a voucher for the European Certified Project Manager (EC-PM®) exam, attend all training sessions and take the exam within two months of completing the course may, if they do not pass the exam, attend another virtual edition of the course at no additional cost.
VAT
The prices shown are subject to VAT at the applicable rate. For individuals residing in Portugal, a VAT offer is available for classroom or virtual courses, subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion. How long is the Project Management Certification course?
The classroom training normally takes place over 3 days, while the virtual training consists of 18 hours of live classes. The elearning option allows you to study at your own pace during the access period defined for the selected option.
How much does the European Certified Project Manager course cost?

What is the relationship between this course and certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2?
The course can be used as preparation for the European Certified Project Manager certification. Other PM certification options, such as PMP and PRINCE2, are separate professional certifications with their own requirements, exams and frameworks.
Is the exam voucher included?
A voucher for one attempt at the European Certified Project Manager exam, as well as the possibility of taking a second attempt (retake), is included in some training options.
