How to obtain the EC-AglC certification?
To obtain the EC-AglC certification, you must first obtain an exam voucher through an authorised training provider. Once you are prepared, you can register on the European Certification website and take the exam online.
The exam consists of 50 questions and has a duration of 60 minutes. To obtain the certification, you must answer at least 60% of the questions correctly.

Agile Coach Certification Course Programme
The Agile Coach training programme covers the key concepts, principles and practices of Agile:
- Agile fundamentals and principles
- The role of the Agile Coach and their relationship with Product Owners, Developers and other team members
- Coaching and developing Agile teams
- Facilitation in Agile environments, including meetings, workshops and other events

Agile Coach certification course: classroom training
Classroom training combines the presentation and discussion of key topics with practical examples and exercises.
Depending on the course, the training may include:
- Presentation and discussion of the main topics, with examples that facilitate learning.
- Use of relevant templates, checklists and other resources.
- Practical exercises and learning activities.
- Exam preparation questions, including module-specific questions and, where applicable, a final exam.
- Support with developing a study plan and, where applicable, guidance on the individual exam application process.
Online Agile Coach certification course: virtual and elearning training
Agile Coach Training Online combines live virtual sessions with the flexibility of distance learning. Sessions are led by the trainer and allow participants to actively participate, ask questions and complete exercises. During the training, participants can use whiteboards, answer questions, exchange messages and take part in Q&A sessions, among other features.
Since 2010, XPM has also offered elearning, allowing participants to study at their own pace. When a course is available as elearning, please refer to the elearning tab for information about the specific features, resources and terms of that format.
Agile Coach Certification elearning training
Our Agile Coach Certification Course in elearning includes:
- Interactive lessons with audio and video.
- Hundreds of practice questions with explanations.

- A glossary of project management concepts.
- A glossary of acronyms.

Access to elearning materials
Enrolment in an elearning course includes access to the course content for the period specified for the course.
The access period starts on the day the access details are sent, even if the participant has not yet started the course. The period is counted in calendar days, including weekends, holidays and public holidays.
Participants are responsible for completing the course within the access period.
European Certified Agile Coach (EC-AglC®) exam voucher
If you purchase a course option that includes the European Certified Agile Coach (EC-AglC®) exam voucher, you must request the voucher within six months of completing the classroom or virtual training.
The voucher is an electronic code assigned to each candidate, valid for one year from the invoice payment date, and allows one exam attempt. The exam can be taken online.
Terms and Conditions
- Exam vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the organisation responsible for the examination.
- Exam vouchers are personal and non-transferable.
- Exam vouchers are non-refundable.
- Exam vouchers may not be resold, exchanged or converted into cash.
- Unless otherwise stated, an exam voucher consists of an electronic code that allows one exam attempt.
- If you do not pass the EC-AglC exam on your first attempt, you are entitled to a second attempt (Retake), which must be taken within one month of the date of the first attempt. If you do not take the exam within this period, the Retake entitlement is automatically cancelled.
- The candidate must request the Retake from XPM within two weeks of the first exam attempt.
Guarantee
Participants enrolled in the Classroom or Virtual Classroom options, who are entitled to a voucher for the European Certified Agile Coach (EC-AglC®) exam, attend all training sessions and take the exam within two months of completing the course may, if they do not pass the exam, attend another virtual edition of the course at no additional cost.
VAT
The prices shown are subject to VAT at the applicable rate.
For individuals residing in Portugal, a VAT offer is available for classroom or virtual courses, subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion.
The VAT offer does not apply to ITIL or PRINCE2 courses, or to customers who benefit from corporate agreement or alumni discounts.
